On a not so warm Sunday morning the club left on a day trip to the RAAC Memorial and Army Tank Museum. Adrian "with thanks" organized the transport and safely got us there at around 11.00 pm. With Gary Zimmer and Co meeting us.

Gary took us on a tour for just over an hour that was jam packed full of information on the various displays that the museum had to offer . The day turned out to be glorious with the temperature in the mid 20’s. A few bonuses were to be had including around 4 ASLAV-25 coming back from maneuvers. Along with some bargains from the museums own model shop.

Tankbloke "AKA Ken" was in his element! With sausage in hand "he bolted", when a soldier fired up a Leopard Tank for a photo shoot with the "Jaguar Car Club" who inturn left before the action started , bad luck for them great luck for us however.....
