On Sunday the 19th of October 2008, the club had its annual display day during the Whitehorse Spring Festival. Most gathered Saturday evening, and with models in hand we fought our way thru a large crowd from previous, and upcoming functions. Eye Candy was everywhere and Bob was in his element.

After a group clean of our room, and a bite of fruit salad. We set about organizing the display tables. Most being out the door by around 9:00 pm, with a few staying on a little later.

Arriving by 8.00am on the Sunday we made our finishing touches and waited for the crowds to gather. "And they did indeed”. It was a fabulous turnout with most of the crowd eager to converse with us all, as we worked on various projects throughout the day. I must admit I found it very amusing to watch the little one's talk with their hands , as Mum, Dad or older sibling tried to stop them. By 4.00 PM came upon us very quickly and it seemed we where packing up a little too soon, since the crowd's kept coming thru. For those of you who missed out it was a fabulous day! Oh well there's always next year at least.
